Marge Padgitt, CEO of HearthMasters, Inc., and Padgitt Forensic Investigations. She is a chimney and fireplace expert. Marge is a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep and Licensed Private Investigator. She has served on the board of directors for the National Chimney Sweep Guild, the Hearth, Patio, and Barbeque Association, the Masonry Heater Association of North America, and the Midwest Chimney Safety Council. Marge is knowledgeable about wood and gas-burning stoves, fireplace inserts, fireplaces, masonry heaters, gas flues and chimneys and can answer any questions regarding efficiency of these appliances, house pressure, EPA regulations, alternative home heating methods, chimney problems, and how to avoid chimney fires and carbon monoxide poisoning. She is the co-author of the book "Wood-Fired Heating and Cooking," and the publisher of Wood-Fired Magazine.
Padgitt is the former talk radio show host of The Hearth and Home Show, and is bringing a new show to YouTube in 2023 called "The Chimney Lady."
