Sarah - Uconn Alumni, Shaun - Sacred Heart University
Sarah - a pharma rep and Shaun worked in finance. We met on match.com in CT and moved to Florida together.
Both wanted to be entrepreneurs, started the company in Fort Lauderdale in our apartment after Sarah let go from pharma jobs, she wanted control of her career.
Began a cupcake business out of apartment and grew it to a food truck and two retail stores. Wanted to find something that we could mass market and came up with the cake in a jar concept and put it in our stores. Then we brokered the product and sold to grocery stores and brought in investment into the company.
Now we are looking to build a $200m+ company over the next five years.
