In this episode, John welcomes Dr. Wren McCallister from Edmonds, Washington, the founder of Better Health Made Easy and HandGuyMD. Dr. McCallister is a Medical Doctor with a background in orthopedics and sports medicine. He shares his journey into entrepreneurship and how he noticed a gap in the healthcare system. Dr. McCallister realized that many patients were showing up late in the game when surgery was their only option or spending unnecessary time at the doctor's office for simple information. This led him to create HandGuyMD, a platform aimed at providing accurate and specific medical information to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health. Dr. McCallister's personal experience with Metabolic Syndrome also inspired him to focus on the fundamentals of health: sleep, mindset, nutrition, and exercise. As he made positive changes in his own life, his patients began to notice and inquire about his transformation. Dr. McCallister's mission is to address the after-effects of systemic disease and chronic inflammation by promoting a holistic approach to health and wellness.
